I traveled to Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden with my wife to enjoy the evening of music and the lighted Chihuly exhibits. I was not disappointed. We arrived around 4:15 on Sunday before they closed the entrance at 4:30pm. This allowed us to stay in the park till they opened the entrance at 6:00pm. We walked the grounds enjoying the landscape of the late afternoon light of the day.
We sat down in the eating area by the water where the boat of the twisted Chihuly art was stationed. We enjoyed out meal, the wonderful jazz music by a local band and a glass of wine as the darkness fell across the sky. We could see the employees manually turning on the lights for the exhibits. We finished our meal and continued our tour of the ground, this time with the exhibit lit up my lights. Just amazing how the glass reflects the the light along with the foliage being highlighted.
