One of the more iconic locations in this country – Horseshoe Bend. With 1000 foot walls of sandstone and thankfully there are now rails along some sections of the cliff edges. Page, AZ

Near the Entrance of the Upper Antelope Canyon
Near the entrance of the Upper Antelope Canyon, in Page, Arizona. The canyon walls have an incredible texture from the layers of collected sediment over millions of years and the shapes of the Navajo Sandstone were carved by the flash flooding of the seasonal rains. I think this area is one of the most unusual places on this earth.

I took a trip with my wife to Arizona in October 2013. The traveled from Phoenix to Page and then to the Grand Canyon. The landscape is spectacular. I could spend months traveling across Arizona photographing every scenic location. My trip to the Grand Canyon was awe inspiring. I captured sunrises and sunsets as well as some time during the day. The cool night air and the warm days made this trip just wonderful. Below are some of my photos of this magical place.
