We walked through the woods with our small flashlights showing us a path, but in the darkness, it is easy to get turned around
and found ourselves on the other side of the lake. We were greeted with another view if the night sky and the Everglades landscape.
The Milkyway over the Everglades National Park in South Florida. A Park Ranger drove up to where were lighting up the trees with their head lights creating a dramatic effect.
We went to take photos from the meteor shower, but too many clouds to the north – northeast…. So there was a little clear sky to catch part of the milky way though. There were too many clouds, but managed to get something, including a few streaks from things – meteors? Could have been a lightning bug… I just do not know.
