It was a stormy Saturday morning as I got to the pier. The clouds looked threatening off the coast with lighting flashes in the distance. I setup to capture the cloudy, colors and the calm ocean before the rains came. The as the sun rose, the colors of the morning shown through the clouds creating some terrific glowing colors and scenic skies!

It was just after the sun came up as I headed back to the car. I stopped and took a final look at this beautiful scene of Hillsboro Inlet and the beach.

A southern wind was blowing at the Hillsboro Inlet as the clouds cleared, letting the colors of the morning glow

The calm wind allowed the water to be as smooth as glass creating amazing reflections of anything above it.
